Biography
Hannah Wnorowski (b. 1990, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA) is a multidisciplinary artist best known for creating The Deck of Character, a cult classic art object inspiring meaningful conversation worldwide. Since The DOC’s inception in 2018, Hannah has toured art spaces across the United States and Europe to teach people about her solo project. Hannah’s most notable show was the last stop of her two-month van tour in the US in 2019, an artist lecture, "Let's Talk about a Woman Traveling Alone," at Special Special Gallery in New York City. After the lecture, fans received stick-and-poke tattoos of Hannah's beloved minimalist cartoon illustrations from The DOC anthology.
She has sold thousands of copies of The DOC to date.
Hannah received a BFA in textile design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2012. She completed an apprenticeship and fellowship at The Fabric Workshop in Museum from 2012-2013. She currently lives and works in rural Central New York.
